Dragon Boat Project
The Dragon Boat project was
commissioned by the Asian-American Renaisance and built by local Asian-American youth.
Dragon boat races are a famouse attraction in Hong Kong harbor. In these
races, the crew paddles furiously to the cadence set by the drummer in the bow. This
dragon boat replica was completed just in time for a major Asian-Amercian parade and
festival on Harriet Island in St. Paul.
