Ed Daugherty

Partnership Program Manager

Ed's (he/him) path to Urban Boatbuilders began with a career in outdoor education in North Carolina. He has been a whitewater guide, paddling skills instructor, and a college outdoor program director. That background in personal growth through hands-on, experiential learning overlaps well with the youth development projects in our Partnership program, and Ed enjoys arranging projects that challenge youth to learn new skills, solve problems, and work as a team. Away from work, Ed enjoys river paddling, hiking, wilderness trips and any undertaking with an uncertain outcome.
